Default IE 6.0 occasionally won't resolve URL. Just sits there. Never reports Done and/or error

I am having a problem with Internet Explorer 6.0. Approximately 90% of the time when I try to go a web site Internet Explorer hangs. Sometimes it hangs with a blank white screen with menu bar, toolbar, but the body of IE is white. It almost looks like it’s trying to resolve the URL. Other times, IE comes up, and is partially displayed (but URL/Page is not) with the other open windows behind it. IE never displays the page/URL.

My computer is a Compaq EV510, Windows XP Pro SP1 w/all Critical Updates, Microsoft Office Pro XP, and Dragon Preferred 9.0.

Another thing to note, I have several cloned machines with same hardware and this is only happening with one. I have re-ghosted several times and even replaced the hardware.
