Default I always see one particular network no matter where I am

Whenever I do a "Refresh networks list" I see a computer-to-computer
network named SMARTSIGHT. This happens no matter where I am located and
evens happens when I have my wireless network adapter turned off.

Does anyone have any explanation for this or know how to correct it?

Many thanks for any help.

Hi
When the Wireless card if Off you should not see Windows Wireless
configuration.
Which that means is that either you do not see this thingy in the Wireless
Networks, or that you are using the Original manufacturer utility that loads
automatically at Start Up regardless of the Status of the Wireless.
So if it is Wireless related uninstall the 3rd party utility, Use WZC and
cleanup the preferred list.

If it is Not in the Wireless then be more specific about exactly where you
see this Network.

Did the explanations from 3 days ago not work?
