Default How to setup home network for Windows 2000 and Windows XP?

Hi, there:
My home network has a wireless router, a Windows 2000 machine and a laptop
running Windows XP. These machine are all configured as one workgroup. From
the XP, the W2000's name is shown, but cannot be accessed, it say's cannot
find the path. From the W2000, only itself's name shown, it cannot see the
XP. I tried to us XP Home's CD to configue the W2000's home network, but the
XP CD say's this method only for W98. I have no idea how to make the home
network working.
Any help would be appreciated.

First look for misconfigured or overlooked personal firewalls, or other security
programs.

Then look at logs from "browstat status", "ipconfig /all", "net config server",
and "net config workstation", from each computer, and diagnose the problem.
Read this article, and linked articles, and follow instructions precisely
