Default How to log in from one windows xp to other windows xp?

I have four computers at home. All computers are network together.
Two computers run under windows 2000 professional and the ohter two run under windows xp professional.
The problem I have is the log on windows wouldn't come on if I connect from one windows xp to the windows xp. The only thing I can see is share area.
