1 - Does it automatically put in or install or have a Proxy Server?
2 - How can I tell if I have a Proxy Server running?
3 - And if so what Address & Port it is using?
Clicking Start | Control Panel | Internet Options | Connections | LAN
Settings
Shows...
- Use a Proxy Sever is CHECKED
- address is BLANK
- Port is BLANK
- Advanced fields are BLANK
I don't remember installing a proxy server. I have my laptop connected
wirelessly to a LinkSys Wi Fi wireless Router... but don't think that has a
proxy server in it either.
Also running Zone Alarm... but don't think that is a Proxy Server either.
re: How can I tell if I have a Proxy Server running?
if it's a home computer, you likely don't have a proxy
server unless you connect to a company server,
etc..contact your ISP to have your settings configured
