Default Home networking

HI all, I am having trouble trying to get a home network
up and running, I have just purchased a wireless Lan PCI
card and cannot get it to work no signal strength no
nothing. I am using win xp home and an ADSL Broadband
modem can any one give me some advise on what to do ,

I take it you have a broadband router that your broadband modem connects to. Usually the router setup utility provides quick and easy set up instructions. Once the router is setup, XP Home is good about finding and connecting to it.
