Default home network, shared documents vs sharing a folder

I just set up a home network with 2 computers and i wonder if there is any
benefit using the "shared documents" and other "shared .." instead of just
sharing an entire folder (and eliminate the need to move the folders)?

No real benefit either way, use whichever works best for you.
