Default help on EM 1003 - the descriptor is not a socket

help what happened to my XP Home and what can I do to resolve it. My pc boots with this message. It takes forever to get through it and ... I don't have any network connection anymore..

My normal setting up is a broadband connection through a router on serveral pc's. All pc's work fine with internet except mine. Help help..
