Default DHCP Client does not start

I have had problems using DHCP, I checked the list of
services and I found that the service had not been
started, I tried to do it manually but I could not do it,
so I need to provide a fixed TCP address in order to work.
Any ideas?

Thank you

Default Re: DHCP Client does not start

What exactly is the error message? You are trying to start the DHCP Client
service or a DHCP server somewhere on your network? Do you actually have a
DHCP server?
