Default DHCP Client

I am trying to install broadband from my cable company and
am unable to get an IP address. They tell me that it is
because my DHCP is not in the start mode - but when click
the start button it gives be an error message and will not
put the DHCP in the start mode

Hihi that's a good one....it's not your DHCP that gives
out the ip address, but your ISP's DHCP service....
have you setup the login procedure correctly ?
Are you connecting directly to the modem or through a
router/wireless AP ?
