XP sp3 -- probs with standby

I made a backup of my system disk image and installed sp3. No apparent probs
or difficulties except one. Since installing sp3, sometimes when my pc starts
going into standby, I get the "going into standby" screen but he pc hangs
there, hangs interminably and can only be regained by reboot.

Anyone else experience this?

There's a good chance others are experiencing this, but since the final
version of SP3 is not out yet, I somehow doubt those people will be in
this newsgroup.

You should post this to microsoft.beta.windowsxp.xp_sp3 on the betanews
server. This ng is unlikely to provide much help for service pack 3 beta.

If you use OE set up a new news account. The server is
betanews.microsoft.com. When the list of newsgroups populates you will see
microsoft.beta.windows.xp_sp3 (I incorrectly typed "windowsxp" in my last
post).
