How could I get a replacement of my Operating System Windows XP Home SP2?

The original is damaged.

Please advise.

If it is OEM you need to contact the original supplier of the software, not
Microsoft. If it is a retail purchase CD see here:

Yes Joe, that's the reason I answered it here also and didn't see the
previous post until I got down that far. Unfortunately, people using the
clunky web based interface like the OP is doing, instead of a decent
newsreader like you and I are using, doesn't always find the responses to
their post. Lets see if the OP sees this and asks about a decent
newsreader.

Copy one from a friend, then use your own cd key from the case.

If the OP will do this they need to make sure:

- It's the same version (Home)
- It's the same type (full version or upgrade)
- It's the same distribution (retail or OEM)
