Default XP Home OEM - SP2 version ?

Hi, I've got SP2 for offline install, can anyone tell me how old it is, (to
save me rummaging at MS for hours ! ?)
(5.5.1005.0 (SRV03_QFE.031113-0918) ..i.e. have there been any significant
additions to it since this version was released.

.....and does it include "everything that went before" ? i.e. can I
install it into a XP Home OEM PC that, say, has never had a service pack
stuffed into it, or one that has had an older sp2 stuffed into it ?

That is to say, I would like to stuff SP2 into a PC that has an email worm
in it, (after cleaning it up of course). It's one of those heavenly PC's
apparantly, where the user only uses it for email / surfing and not much
else, ..not even word-processing !!!

When I get my hands on it, I'll be able to decide whether it's quicker to
take it home, zero-fill and rerinstall the thing, harden it up, and windows
update it on my adsl/router, or whether it's feasible to do it on site,
.......well I can hope ! :-)

TIA, ...regards, Richard

(snippage)

XP Service Pack 2 was issued in August of 2005. It has not changed.
After the installation of SP2, there will be approximately 80 updates
that will need to be installed. Service Pack 2 is inclusive of SP1 so
no, you don't need to install SP1 before SP2. You are probably thinking
of older MS Office products which did require Service Packs to be
installed in order.
