Default write protection

I have just started getting msg that my mp3 files are write protected, and
can neither delete or load onto my player, in fact any files I want to copy
are affected. Can anyone help please ! I have been using this player without
any trouble for months.

Perhaps there is a lock button on your player. What does the user guide say?
