Default Wont Power Off On Shut Down

First, sorry for he re-post the original was back on June 01 and I wasn't
sure anyone would see this follow-up.

Thanks for the information Wes. Do you (or anyone) know how I can get my
system to power down after I shut it down? It worked before I reinstalled
hal.ddl, ntdetect and the other file (had to do with nt).

Thank you for your help
Joe
