Default Windows Picture and Fax Viewer

After inserting my media card recently to view digital photos, I clicked
'always do slide show' as first action. Now I cannot return to menu to
change this or to download pictures as I constantly get slide show. How do I
get out of this to enable me to use all the options of the Picture and Fax
Viewer? Help needed for an old pensioner who is not computer literate!

Open "My Computer", right-click the media card, click Properties, click
AutoPlay, change the settings.
