Windows Picture and Fax Viewer

How do I set windows picture and fax viewer as my default picture viewer so
that when I double click on a picture icon it opens in this program

Mick, rt click the file you want to view and select Open With > Choose
Program> Select WinPic and Fax Viewer and
check the box that say's Always use this program etc. Click Ok.

Right click on image, pane opens, then click on Open With... click on
Choose Program ....another pane opens, then search the listing for "Windows
Picture and Fax Viewer", hi-lite it, & at the bottom, below the listing,
check the box for "Always use this program to view the selected file"

You also have the option of browsing for a picture viewer but (in Vista) if
you accidently pick the wrong picture-viewer you cannot delete the bad pick;
