Default Windows Genuine Advantage Notification

In late Feb 2007 or early March, my wife let Windows Update install this
software. Didn't really notice much with it until the last 3-4 days when my
firewall, Kerio, asks for permission every morning (I power down at night)
to access the internet.

Why would it, all of a sudden, be wanting to call in every day?? Is there
anyway to get rid of this new version or is that even advisable?

Thanks,
Ed

Earlier versions yes, the current no..if you wish to not see the prompt, allow it via your firewall.

Tell your firewall to block it and to not ask again.

Alias, who never, ever, installs MS spyware.
