When I used WIndows ME, if I was browsing image files in windows
explorer, I would get an image preview in a panel on the left side of
the screen just by clicking on the file, but I can't seem to find how
to get this function in Windows XP. Could anyone tell me how to enable
this function? Thanks.

The preview feature under Win98/WinMe had nothing to do with the thumb-
nail view (subject line) under Win98 and WinMe.

In contrast to the preview, the thumbnail view is part of WinXP as well
and can be selected similar to Win98 and WinMe.
