Windows Explorer - right side files wont open

Windows Explorer - right side files wont open, the left will but the right
side of the screen wont, only when it's a document will it open, I can not
expand the right side files. I was away on maternity leave and one of the
persons hired while I was gone did this and I have no idea what she did, can
anyone please help me fix this.
