I was hoping someone could help me with this whole process. I tried
using nLite software to place drivers on with winxp install CD and I
keep getting same "Cannot Find Hard Disk Error". This is to due to the
fact that Xp does not load SATA RAID Drivers during Windows
Installation.
-No I dont Have a floppy drive or even a blank floppy!-
I have a Sony Vaio Model: PCG-384L Series: VGN-FZ140E
I found the right SATA Drivers for my HD. I guess what I'm asking is
if there is any other software or boot utility that I can use that
will successfully load the SATA drivers or emulate an "A" floppy
drive.
buy one and install it, they are cheap and easy to install.

You need to go into the BIOS config screen and set the SATA mode to
'legacy' or 'PATA emulation'
Typically you press F2 or Del at startup to access these settings, though
this may vary. Finding the setting typically takes a bit of digging, it may
be under peripherals, or advanced.
Once you've got the chipset drivers installed you may find that returning
this setting to 'native mode' gives better performace, but this is not
essential.

You'll probably need to pull out more hair;
Its not sata drivers for your hd you require, but sata controler drivers for
your mobo.
And no you cannot install them other than by buying a floppy, or
intergrating them into a winxp installation cd
