Default virus problem

I have recently downloaded defender pro anti-virus in my computer and I keep
getting a dialog box everytime I go on line that says " Network Attack:
INTRUSION.WIN.MSSQL.WORM.HELKERN from address 218.202.106.182 has been
repelled, Does this mean that defender pro has fixed the virus and if so why
does it keep coming back or is there something I should do to stop this? It
doesn't tell me any info about it or what to do, also before I downloaded
defender pro I recieved a message saying I had been attacked by a virus
called INFOSTRIPPER how do I know if I still have it and what do I do about
it? PLEASE HELP ME ANYBODY

Hi,

Message was generated by firewall and its IDS (Intrusion Detection System).
It doesnt mean that you are or was infected. Simply IDS intercepted UDP
packet on 1434 port and assumed that it's an Helkern virus attack - but for
99% it's not. If it really was virus attack it came from machine from
network and was rejected.

About infostripper virus - i dont know that one - but if it was detected
before you installed AV program so what program has detected it ?

There are anti virus News Groups for such subject matter.
In the Microsoft News Groups it is ; microsoft.public.security

Is this the anti virus you are using ?
http://www.defender-pro.com/anti_virus.php

Did you buy this software ?
If yes, what are you doing with this *JUNK* ?

Your title says "virus problem" but your post "Network Attack:
INTRUSION.WIN.MSSQL.WORM.HELKERN from address 218.202.106.182 has been repelled..." sounds
more like a FireWall message.

I have never heard of a virus called "infostripper" either.

Please answer the first set of questions before we go to the next step...
