Default Video's embeded in web pages

Does anyone know how to stop these embedded videos that I don't want to
watch stop me from scrolling when I get to the place holder for the video?
Man is that annoying, almost as bad as a popup window.

Thanks for any help, Rich

possibly get spyware blaster, it blocks the flash macromedia that web pages
use to play those blasted things, I also hate them.
or any piece of software that blocks macromedia flash from running.
