Default using 2 microphones

I am using xp pro and would like to use 2 microphones.

I have tried just getting a 2 into 1 adapter and this works but is very
quiet and I am unable to increase the volume any more.

Any ideas.

Also i have 2 hard drives. Windows sees one in the 'my computer menu' but
not both yet it does see that it is there in the bios and in Device Manager

For the second issue what shows in Disk Management? Is a drive formatted
and a letter assigned? Right click My Computer | Manage | Disk Management.
Look in the right pane.

If this doesn't fix it then you need to post more details on what kind of
drive, if internal or external, and how it's connected.

Hi Merv,

Regarding your first question, it sounds as though you may have an impedance
mis-match. Go to your local Radio Shack (or better yet, a "real" audio
store), and explain what you want to do. They should be able to help.
