In Windows XP, when people say user account or user profile, is there
a difference?
In the control panel, there is a program called User Accounts - it
seems to mean the same thing as user profiles - which are ways of two
or more users on the same machine to store their favorites, desktop
background, etc.

The pages I've seen tend to use the two terms interchangeably.
