Default User Account ASP.NET Machine A

Greetings,

One of my user accounts is ASP.NET Machine A. Under the account name is
states that it is a Limited Account and it is also Password Protected. Since
this has been put on my machine through windows update and .NET, I did not
assign it a password.

My question is what is the password?

Thanks in advance for any help or comments.

Leigh

You should not even see the ASP.NET Machine Account anymore. This issue was
fixed with the Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 Service Pack 1.

Default Re: User Account ASP.NET Machine A

Thanks for the information.

I downloaded the Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 Service Pack 1. As it was
being installed I got a dialog box telling me it was already installed and
would I like to reinstall it. I said yes. The software was installed but the
user accounts is ASP.NET Machine A is still on my computer.

Before I installed the software I opened up the control panel and checked
Add or Remove Programs. .NET Framework 1.1 Service Pack 1 was not listed.

Since the account is still listed in user accounts I will just let it be. It
is not affecting my use of my computer.

Can I delete that user account? What affect would deleting the user accounts
ASP.NET Machine A have?

Thanks again for you help.

Leigh

It depends, see this.

What is the ASP.NET Machine Account?

I do not have any .net framework crap on one of my machines. On the other
one I have to have it because AutoCAD LT 2007 needs it.
