Default upgrading xp

i have a xp professional number, but i found a xp professional with a
different program on, could i possibly use my old xp number on this new
edition?

What are you trying to say? What do you mean by "xp professional
number?" What does "xp professional with a
different program on" mean? Lastly, to what, specifically, does "old xp
number" refer?

Give us a clue: WHAT is your PRIMARY language?

If it's English. tell us what grade (K-6) you finished.
