Default Upgrading SP 1 to SP2

I would like to upgrade my Windows XP Service Pack 1 version to Service Pack
2 so that I can upgrade to Internet Explorer 7. How can I do this most
efficiently?

You DO realise that you haven't been able to install security updates for
about six months because you haven't installed SP2, don't you?
