Default trouble accessing HDD

when i go to my computer and double-click on HDD(C i get into the Search
companion instead of accessing the drive, so i have to right-click it instead
and then open it. I used to be able to just double-click the HDD icon and get
into it. why is it doing this?

You might want to download and run the registry fix from this web site.

If that doesn't work, take a look at these articles.
