Default TOSHIBA 1900 FORMATING PROBLEM

HELLO EVERYONE I HAVE A QUESTION I HOPE SOMEONE CAN ANSWER. I HAVE A
TOSHIBA 1900 LAPTOP AND I FORMATED IT AND NOW I WANT TO USE THE
RECOVERY DISC TO PUT EVERYTHING BACK ON BUT ITS ALWAYS GIVING ME AN
ERROR MESSAGE SAYING ERROR PARTIONING DRIVE. WHAT DOES THAT MEAN AND
WHAT DO I DO?
