Default System Restore.

I hope someone can help, please?

So I got this Antivirus XP 2008 show up on my computer and these warnings
about spyware. I tried uninstalling it, and I tried removing it through
control panel, and I can't get rid of it. Does anyone know how to get rid of
it?

I was thinking of doing a system restore. But I just removed a bunch of
viruses with my AVG scanner. Will they come back now if I do a system
restore?

It is a myth that virus scanners can repair all damage done
by a virus. Some will remain, same as the scars in the face
of someone afflicted with smallbox. If I had a bunch of
viruses (your words) then I would consider my machine
compromised. Time for a fresh installation, this time with
a good virus scanner that is updated regularly.

Boot to Safe Mode, run Superantispyware or Spybot S&D, and your updated
antivirus. Then reboot into regular mode.
