This still occurs: =0987y5r3 while typing 097y5r3 typing in Word

These numbers/letters just appear as I am typing in Word, Outlook or
searching on EBay. I cannot continue typing. The box pops up saying either
Work Help and How to or Outlook Help and How to. =0987y5r3

The code below just occurred as I was typing the below message. The "Find"
box poped up to find a word. I could not type anything else after the
numbers appeared. I had to turn the Toshiba Satellite laptop off and
restart. This has been happening for about 5 months. It's getting worse.

Try connecting an external keyboard. Sounds like a hardware problem with
the inbuilt one.

If it does then you may consider having the laptop repaired.

Unfortunately I need an adapter for the older style keyboard I have. So, I
did not try it out. I do have a 3 year warranty for my Toshiba Laptop with
Comp USA. I guess I will just take it to them and they will probably send it
to Toshiba. I did not want to be out a computer for a week or more. But,
this problem occurs every time I type anything.
