Default speech recognition

I'm trying to locate the language bar to operate speech recognition but I can
not find it even in the regional and language settings in control panel. I've
already run the speech recognition wizard. What's next.

I posted this question several hours ago and received an e.mail indicating a
reply but I could not find my posting. Do they sometimes get lost?

Hi JJ,

Hard to find, but it's where you were looking:

Open Regional and Language Options in Control Panel.

On the Languages tab, under Text services and input languages, click
Details.

Under Preferences, click Language Bar.

Select the Show the Language bar on the desktop check box.

One thing to note is that speech recognition can slow the computer
significantly, and cause things you don't expect. For example, if you are
working in Word... don't be listening to talk shows on the radio or TV at
the same time.
