I suggest you check out www.acronis.com - TrueImage Home (or Workstation) is
an image-based backup solution that will do this sort of thing for you very
nicely (and more). I don't work for the company; I just like their stuff.
Get a USB-attached hard drive and do scheduled backups with it...
