my problem with windows is that I cannot access to the search function,
whenever I click on it it shows the time icon and doesn't open it. the rest
of the computer is fine. Anyone know what could be happening? thanks for the
help and sorry for my bad english, I am argentinian.

Hello diego
Your English is fine! :-) Here's something to try that may help (you'll
need your Windows XP CD or the files from the i386 folder):
Open Windows Explorer and go to the Windows\Inf folder. (This is a
hidden folder, so if you don't have these set to display you may first
have to go to Tools | Folder Options | View tab and check Show Hidden
Files and Folders.)
Look for a file called srchasst.inf, then right-click it and choose
Install. You'll be prompted to insert your CD or point Windows to the
i386 folder.
