Default Please go to control panel and configure system components.

Every time I start my computer I get a message saying, "plesae go to control
panel and configure system components." I checked in device manager and
everything seems fine? How can I fix this?

Perhaps a Windows startup entry is causing this error.

Download Startup Tracker application from this page:
http://www.dougknox.com/xp/utils/xp_starttrack.htm

Launch the program, and click the "View log" button. Post the contents of the log file here.

One of the startup programs (not sure which one in the list) is probably
invoking c:\windows\system32\setup.exe.

May be you can disable half of the programs at a time using MSCONFIG and
reboot to find the culprit.
