Default Personal settings/My Documents/All defaults

Everytime I restart my computer all my personal settings are lost and all new
documents and or desktop items are gone. I search for them by name under the
C drive and they are somehow moved into my documents and settings/temp file
under a new folder created (that I didn't create) named "Owner Documents".
If I save a new document in "My documents" it is also moved out of there and
into this file. What is going on? This happened out of no where???? I work
from home and this is awful!

Apparently your user account is corrupted. Create a new user account and
see if the same issue arises. If it doesn't, simply copy your data to
the new account and delete the old one once you are satisfied that all
is working as it should.

If the same corruption occurs on the new user account, I'd do some
hardware troubleshooting starting with the RAM and the hard drive.

Hi Kim,

Are you autologging on? If so, did you perhaps select the wrong profile
when you set it to auto?
