Default Norton Internet Security

after having removed a couple of viruses from my machine i got prblems with
sony media manager which i am in the proccess of fixing when i got this

microsft visual c++ runtime library
program: c:\program files\common files\symantec\ccsvchst.exe

and then got these

norton internet security could not initialize alerts. uninstall and
re-install norton internet security
0x8005ffff

auto-protect experienced an unexpected error.
0x000003ee

is it a possible carry on from the previous virus but the norton site is as
useful as a chocolate tea pot, ut i have emailed them, any help would be great

Hi Craig,

It could be a result of a prior virus. I would uninstall the program
and then reinstall it. There is also a removal tool that will remove
all registry entries on the Symantec site. Use that after you have
uninstalled. Search for that also.
