NIS 2007 and xp performance

I got a new amd athlon 62 x2 dual core, ie 6/7 was slow loading, tried
everything to optimize, finally found it was parental control, it
added two minutes to internet explorer startup, at least. If you want
real parental control use nis 2006 which allows per user parental
control. nis 2007 ate my processor, also, had to reinstall x3 due to
bad motherboards, this ate all my installations of nis 2006 and
Symantec was not willing to reset my subscription so I was out of
luck, not a happy camper, paid for product but useless thanks to
Symantec product support. Turn off parental control in nis 2007 if
you expect reasonable startup times.
