Default Microsoft Windows XP Professional x64 SP2b ????

Questions is: What does this mean (in the subject line)? what is x64? I
see other XP Pro O/S systems for sale, but the x64 has me confused.
Especially opposed to Windows XP Professional Full PRO SP2
Thanks
JB

x64 is the 64bit version of the OS. XP comes in 32bit commonly called x86)
and 64bit (x64. x86 versions will run on 32bit or 64bit hardware. x64
