Default Make home folder available offline

Whenever users try to synch their home folders using the 'make available
offline' feature in Windows explorer, they receive an error message along the
lines of access is denied. These users have FULL permission to this shared
folder. I have tried it with my own home folder, and it worked fine (i have
domain admin access.) I tried to replicate the problem with another test
account, and the access denied permission again came up. The only other two
groups/users that have rights to this folder are local admins, and system
(these are inherited from the parent folder).
Is there some trick to offline folders, im not very familiar with using them.
