Default Loopback connection on local machine

I receive this message when I am trying to open music program - unable to
access because firewall program may be blocking or loopback connection on
local machine.
I have made adjustments with the firewall and It still won't connect.

What can I do to resolve the problem??

Thanks,

Aw

You need to post details of what program your using, and what is it exactly
you're trying to do.
At first glance I thought it might be an issue with a router/firewall, do
you use a router/firewall?

Hi,

I must tell you, I don't know very much about computers technically that is,
just barely enough to get by....but I can listen and learn very well!!
I had limewire music program on my computer and then I switched ISP once I
switched back to my original provider, limewire did not work. I keep getting
the message I told you about. The only firewall I have is on the OneCare
provided by Windows. I disabled the one one windows XP??? So Onecare would
work properly.

I hope this information helps you to help me.

Thanks,

Autymnrain
