Default Laptop Sleeps

I'm trying to find out how to stop a laptop from going to sleep when nobody
is logged in. I do a lot of admin work remotely after hours, and when users
leave they log out and then a while later the laptop goes to sleep.

I was under the impression that the power management settings were related
to profiles ie, they only take effect when the user is logged in.

How do you stop a laptop from going to sleep in nobody is logged in?

Default RE: Laptop Sleeps

Some user is logged in or the machine would not be running. Make sure the
profile for that user (the user that is present at startup when no one else
is logged in) is set to disallow sleep or hibernation modes. Alternatively,
don't computers have settings in the bios for wake up on modem or lan, etc.??
