Bottom line: it's not ready for prime time.

MS calls it an RC, not me. Anyway, I provided the link so you could try it
out yourself in case that's something you would like to do.

Yeah, have the same motherboard and similar chip. Disabling the "Core Multiplexing Technology" option in BIOS during install worked!! Thanks, I was going to start looking at running memory tests (yuck).

BTW, were you able to turn it back on later? Or did you have to install SP2 first?

I had nothing but trouble with this MoBo install. Floppy for drivers without a floppy controller onboard! (even for install purpose only!).
It took me 8hrs total before I reached out online and found this post after 2hrs browsing, trying few things. This worked. thank you!

Glad it worked out, but this is why it's a good idea to have a USB floppy
drive available. They aren't expensive.
