Default install shield

Hi there,
Is install shield isuspm.exe needed on my XP Pro machine? I noticed it
takes a lot of memory and would like to uninstall it, do you know how?
Thanks a lot, T

Tester,

Looking at the name of the file its for Installshield User Permissions

Best idea would be to ask the creators themselves

It is the Install Shield Update Manager, which is installed by certain
program(s) and used (sometimes by more than one) to check for updates to
those programs. It's set to run at startup through a run key in the
registry to check for updates for those programs. For example Corel
WordPerfect version 12 installs it. If this is the case, that it was
installed by a program to look for updates, then you should see an entry
named something like Program Updates in the control panel. It certainly is
not essential, and it certainly doesn't need to run every time the computer
starts.
