Default IE auto complete

i update windows all the time and keep everything updated however recently
my IE is not saving anything...and the option is set to remember forms
etc...but nothing is being saved!!
anyone knows how to turn this thing on??

the first one below - you appear to be using newsgroups with OE6 and not the
web interface discussion group.
