Icons on desktop do not show after using Spyware doctor

Hi people,

After i scan infections( adware, trojans, virus...) with the Spyware
Doctor V5.0.0.169 , My desktop creen do not display the icons. When i
use Task manager to open an application on desktop, it still works.

Another thing is that i can open folder in any hard disk, except USB
device.Can any one show me the reason why? and how can i solve this
problems.

I use Windown XP SP1 operation system.
Please help me,

It looks like you are still heavily infected. Try to perform more
anti-spywares and antivirus scans. To show your desktop icons use Kelly's XP
tweaks "Enable or Disable Desktop Icons"

1) Try the registry fix at this site

2) Locate EXPLORER.EXE in the task manager Processes list. If it does not
exist, go to File > Run > EXPLORER > OK

Not sure about the USB folders though. What error messages do you get?

Consider updating to SP2 by downloading the update here
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

You should also visit Windows Updates or enable Automatic updates to receive
the latest updates in addition to SP2.
