Default I accidentally changed a folder icon to a Recycle Bin Icon. Undo?

Recently, I changed a folder icon to a Recycle Bin icon through the the
folder's Properties option. Now it acts like a second recycle bin and will
not allow me to access the files inside. I tried restoring my computer to a
previous date but the oldest checkpoint is only from a few days ago, and it
did not fix my problem. If I right click on the folder (with it's new Recycle
Bin icon) it only gives me a Recycle Bin menu and if I click properties it
only gives me options for drive configurations, but no icon list to change it
back from. I have Treesize installed and it sees the files are still in there
but I can't access them or move them out of there to a working folder. So I
know the files are still there, but if I try to view the contents of that
folder, it shows up as empty.

Can someone please help me?

Thank you in advance.

I wrote in the original post that I tried that and it didn't help. Anything
else I can try?
