Head over to either SanDisk or U3.com. Locate the steps to remove the
U# system and then the Cruzer U3 will be converted to a standard flash
drive.
However, you must note that you must save to files to a different
drive first!!!!!

U3 is for auto-starting applications when the U3 enable flash drive is
connected to a PC. you can not normally save these. The list of
compatible U3 applications change regularly. You can always locate
the U3 "re-install" procedure.
