Default Help - I can't uninstall Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007 !!

Hi All,

I hope you can help me. I am trying to unistall the program/package that is
' Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007 '.
Problem is, that it comes up with a error messge that says that the program
has become corrupted and I would need to use the CD or DVD that I used to set
up the program. Unfortunatley I don't have the CD or DVD. How can I remove
this program from my PC ? It takes up an awful lot of memory, and I don't use
it at all.

Any help or advice appreciated.

Regards,

Caz x

Why don't you have the setup disk? If it's because you used an install file, then
use that file to remove the application. Do a search on your drive(s) to see if the
install files are cached somewhere from when you installed it, search for a folder
named MSOCache.
If you don't use it at all, it can't be using up a lot of memory, disk space maybe,
a lot of memory no.

Perhaps if you post to an Office ng you will get it resolved.

Hi Brian,

I don't have a set up disk I'm afraid I never had one. My friend installed
the program for me a while ago.

However I have found a file usig search called MSOCache, now what do I do
with this file ? Also the file looks like its a faded colour. Does that mean
anything ? I do appreciateyour help and your patience a great deal.

Regards,

Caz x :-)

Do you see OFFICE in this group's title? NO.

Ask elsewhere

That's one problem for a user when an application is exploited.

MSOCache would be a folder with other directories , not a file, and it should
contain all of the files used for install/uninstall. When you use Add/Rmove to
repair/install other files/uninstall, you need to direct the uninstall wizard to the
directory that has the files requested when prompted for the disk. If that doesn't
work you will have two other options, post to an Office ng for a possible resolution
or get the disk from your friend so you can reverse what I believe appears to be a
process of exploitation.
